Overview
Dr. Frances
Kennedy will present
an overview of why
accounting and
finance executives
are embracing the
principles and
practices of lean
accounting. Why do
many companies
embracing lean
principles
inevitably run into
challenges with
their traditional
management
accounting
practices? Why is
their often a rift
between lean
operations and
accounting? More
importantly, what
are actual companies
across
the country doing
about it? Dr.
Kennedy brings years
of experience
from her time at
Rubbermaid as plant
financial and
inventory
management,
corporate reporting
and new product team
analyst. Dr.
Kennedy is one of
the most recognized
names in lean
accounting and today
teaches at Clemson
University.
What might you and
your company
accomplish when lean
operations are
aligned with
management
accounting?
Thousands of
companies are
developing a strong
competitive
advantage by using
lean accounting
principles and
practices.
