On the
completion of this one-day workshop participants
will understand how to use the methods of Lean
Accounting as a lean management system.
OVERVIEW
Some
people suggest that the term “Lean Accounting” is a
misnomer because the methods of Lean Accounting
combine into a comprehensive approach to managing a
lean business. This short workshop does not attempt
to teach the methods of Lean Accounting – but to
show how these methods are used together to create a
truly lean management system.
PURPOSE
This
workshop has broad scope and it’s aim is to present
the methods of Lean Accounting and other lean
methods from a management perspective. The workshop
contain practical examples of how value stream
managers, controllers & CFOs, lean specialist, and
executives of lean organization have harnessed Lean
Accounting methods and tools to do what lean value
streams do: Create more value for the customers,
Grow the business, Eliminate waste from every
process, and make “tons of money”!
